Lesson 6:

Working your "Why".

Once you are clear on why you must renew your mind and begin the process of bringing transform your life, you can view this now as your purpose and mission.

This goal of transformation has just shifted from being a hopeful wish to being a definite aim and one that you are fully committed to fulfilling.

Now your “WHY” becomes a filter for your life. This is what I mean by “working our your WHY”.

You now have to constantly ask yourself the following questions –

  • “Are my thoughts in agreement with my purpose for seeing growth, healing, wholeness, health, and success in this area of my life?”

  • “Are the feelings that I am feeling influencing me to create transformation in this area of my life or are they influencing me to produce more of the same?”

  • “Are my actions supportive of what I want to see in my life or are my actions creating outcomes that result that I don’t desire?”
  • Is my day filled with activities that will produce a transformed life or more of my current life?

See, your “why” keeps you on track. You have clarity of your vision and you have the power of your purpose/why. Now it’s time to bring it all together.

It’s like the mission of a company. McDonald’s will never sell furniture! Why? Because it has nothing to do with their purpose and aim. They know who they are, know who they serve, and know why they are in business.

This is the same focus you must have when committing to experience the best that God has for you.

Your “WHY” will inspire you with passion for living each day with purpose and intention.

Filter everything through your “why” and you will find yourself doing only the things that matter.
